Tongits Go — A New Definition of Card Games
Tongits Go is a popular card and table game developed by JILI, the digital version of the traditional Filipino Tongits game. On the apk8d platform, this game has quickly gained popularity among Bangladeshi players because its rules are relatively straightforward and each round ends quickly.
The game uses a standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt a number of cards at the start, and the goal is to form specific sets or sequences with those cards as fast as possible. The first player to match all their cards wins.
To play Tongits Go at apk8d, simply log in and select the game from the JILI section in the game lobby. You can play uninterrupted from any device — mobile or desktop.

How to Play Tongits Go?
The main goal in Tongits Go is to form "melds" from your hand — three cards of the same rank, or three or more cards of the same suit in sequence. The fewer unmatched cards you hold, the better your chances of winning.
On each turn you can draw a card from the deck and lay down your melds on the table. At the end of your turn you must discard one card to the discard pile. You also have the option to pick up an opponent's discard to add to your own set — this strategic element makes the game even more exciting.
A round ends when someone declares "Tongits" (all cards matched) or the deck runs out. Points are counted based on the value of unmatched cards, and the player with the lowest points wins. The interface at apk8d is completely intuitive, so even brand-new players can easily follow along from the very first round.
- 3 cards of the same rank — Set Meld
- 3+ cards of the same suit in sequence — Run Meld
- Match all cards and declare "Tongits" — instant win
- When the deck runs out, the player with the lowest points wins

In any skill-based game, knowing a few fundamental strategies improves your chances of winning. Keeping some basic tips in mind for Tongits Go can help you stay ahead of your opponents.
Focus on Building Melds Quickly
As soon as you receive your cards, look for possible melds. Discard cards that are nowhere close to forming a meld early on to keep your hand light.
Watch Your Opponent's Discards
Pay attention to which cards your opponent is discarding. Try to read their strategy and discard cards that will not complete their melds.
Declare "Tongits" at the Right Time
Even when all your cards are matched, waiting a little longer can sometimes be worthwhile. However, when the deck is running low, it is safer not to delay and declare Tongits.
